The Golden Sands

The trees gently sway in the summer breeze While the waves churn and foam on the sandy beach Visitors lay in the hot summer sun Drinking in the best of the summer fun The salty air so thick with noise From children who have no other choice But to break free from the shackles of school Into the blue of the sea so cool As the children play so free With gay abandon in the sea A watchful eye their parents keep And the other on trinkets they wish to keep Trinkets Sarongs on display A feast for eyes one must say Loads to choose from shoes to hues Luring everyone when they call The bright sunny golden sands Beckons everyone at hand Alas! Its all somewhere Far in the distant land
